He further clarified that the gesture was entirely accidental, occurring amid the excitement following the team’s final touchdown. “I just showed the wrong digit,” he noted. “The action was accidentally performed. I’m not kidding. If you want to call it accidental, you can. However, it got corrected rapidly.”
